Uptown is one of our fave go-to restaurants in Ankeny. The pizza, onion rings and the generous Uptown Salad with the mouth-watering House Creamy Parmesan dressing are our favorites. Great staff in a nostalgic Uptown Ankeny location.

This was sadly disappointing. The servers were kind and helpful, but brought my entree as an appetizer and brought my guest the wrong salad. The surprisingly small serving of Alfredo pasta she had been so looking forward to, which was $19 with the added chicken, was watery and the sauce didn't stick to the noodles. The chicken was too chewy for her to bite. The bar noise was too loud, even in the other side of the dining room. We were disappointed, because our children are getting ready to start college in the area, and we wanted to love this place for the next 4 years.
